Last Friday Ben came into my office with a little worry in his eyes and mentioned the weather. He is a planner and was worried that driving north for Lindsey and Kevin’s wedding on Saturday was going to be tough if not impossible. So we packed up our gear, threw some clothes in a bag, dropped off the girls and headed north. As we drove I texted Lindsey and her sweet Mom and they were stressed. Of course they were stressed! Who wouldn’t be? I tried to assure them that it would all be beautiful but I knew the best thing we could do for them was to pray. Pray for safe travels, pray for peace of mind and most importantly pray for her and Kevin as they prepared for the best day of their lives! Saturday morning we walked over to the venue and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Little and Tyler, Lindsey’s brother. They were so sweet and were working so hard to get everything ready while the girls primped and prepared. I just love seeing families come together to make a wedding happen. It gives me all the feels. As soon as Lindsey walked in we greeted her with hugs and said a quick prayer of thanks because she was calm, excited and so at peace after such a hectic day before. Every minute of their wedding day from her mom helping get into the dress to their first look was exactly as it should be and absolutely gorgeous! We loved their bridesmaids and groomsmen and EXTRA loved them for playing in the snow with us! Thanks guys…we know it was freezing and y’all were troopers! When it was all said and done it was one of our favorite days ever and we loved every minute! Hands down the highlight of my day was shooting the newlyweds in the snowy trees…I’m pretty sure I squealed about 100 times. Just amazing. Stephens, you guys take the cake! Thanks so much for having us!
