I’ve known Jonna since we were in high school so when I got her email that her and Rob were getting married I of course was super excited to get to shoot it! Now we hadn’t seen each other in over five years but when we got together over coffee to talk all about them and the wedding it was like no time had passed. That’s what’s great about Jonna, she’s got a heart the size of Texas and her sincere love for all of her friends and family makes everyone feel welcome and loved. I knew their wedding would be amazing but I couldn’t have imagined it as special as it was. All day she glowed, excited, anxious, happier than happy. And Rob…well Rob was calm cool and collected and just couldn’t wait to see her. The moment they laid eyes on each other was one I won’t forget. He was proud and she was giggling through her tears, squeezing her dad tight as the storm raged right outside the beautiful windows of Hickory Street Annex. As soon as they said I do the storm let up and we took the newlyweds outside for some sunset portraits and I think I said “YOU GUYS! How is this happening?!” like 40 times. I loved this day and love this couple! And to top it off we got to work with some favorites of ours! RLove Floral, you nailed it as always and Sugar Bee Sweets, that cake display was gorgeous and they were deeeeelish! Enjoy some of my faves and have a happy Thursday!
